Personal & Business Profiles

Tune Talk’s Contact Card feature on the Tune Talk App has achieved an impressive milestone of 200,000 users—and the numbers continue to grow. Designed for both personal and professional networking, the Contact Card offers a seamless and paperless way to connect, reinforcing Tune Talk’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and enhancing its subscribers’ digital lifestyles

Launched in December 2024, the Contact Card is a key feature of Tune Talk’s ongoing app revamp, set for completion by the end of Q2 2025. This upgrade ensures subscribers enjoy a more rewarding and dynamic user experience.

The Future of Digital Networking

The Contact Card is evolving into a comprehensive digital hub that caters to subscribers’ lifestyle and networking needs. This upcoming enhancement aligns with Tune Talk’s vision of building an ecosystem that not only connects people but also empowers them with smarter, more efficient digital solutions.

Driving Sustainability Through Digital Innovation

Beyond convenience, the Contact Card is also a step towards a more sustainable future, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:

Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

Goal 13: Climate Action

Going paperless is a crucial environmental initiative. According to The World Counts, over 199 tons of paper are produced every 15 seconds, with 93% of paper sourced from trees and 2,700 liters of water required to produce just one tonne of paper. The Contact Card minimizes paper consumption, reducing the environmental impact of deforestation, water usage, and energy consumption associated with paper manufacturing.

By eliminating traditional business cards and the logistics of printing and distribution, the Contact Card also lowers carbon emissions, contributing to a more responsible and eco-friendly digital future.

Building a Fully Digital Ecosystem

Tune Talk continues to lead digital transformation and sustainability efforts. As Malaysia’s first fully cloud-enabled mobile network operator, Tune Talk has successfully migrated to Amazon Web Services (AWS), reinforcing its commitment to reducing its environmental footprint.

“Hitting 200,000 users? Now that’s pretty cool! The Contact Card is just one of the many ways we’re making life easier (and cooler) for Tune Talkers. Whether it’s for work or just flexing your digital presence, we’re all about giving you the tools to stay connected effortlessly,” said Gurtaj Singh Padda, Executive Director of Tune Talk. “This is just the beginning—there’s a whole lot more coming your way.”

Tune Talk’s Contact Card is a prime example of how technology can enhance convenience while promoting sustainability. As more features roll out in the coming months, Tune Talk subscribers can look forward to an even more rewarding and seamless digital experience.
