The Chief Talker is back, Gurtaj Singh Padda Returns as Tune Talk’s Executive Director

In an exciting new chapter for Tune Talk, we’re proud to welcome back our very own co-founder, Gurtaj Singh Padda, as our new Executive Director. Known for his tech wisdom and sharp wit, Gurtaj played a pivotal role in shaping Tune Talk’s original business model back in 2009.

For an achievement that feels like a scene from a movie, Gurtaj has become Tune Talk’s sole majority shareholder—a first in Malaysia’s MVNO industry. This bold move not only brings him back to lead the company but also transitions Tune Talk into a fully independent entity, poised to chart a unique path in Malaysia’s telecommunications landscape.

Since our inception, Tune Talk has stood out for its dedication to innovative, customer-centric solutions. With Gurtaj at the helm, our commitment to this vision only grows stronger. His deep-seated passion for pushing the boundaries of mobile network capabilities will drive our digital solutions to make life easier and more connected for our users.

Light Hearts, Bright Smiles: Tune Talk Celebrates Deepavali with Sai Pandian Orphanage

23 October 2024, Kuala Lumpur As the Festival of Lights approaches, Tune Talk is proud to extend a hand of support and care to the Sai Pandian Children’s Orphanage Home in Setia Alam. In the spirit of Deepavali, which symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, Tune Talk is committed to not only brightening lives but also lighting hearts by providing essential goods and support to uplift the children and residents at the orphanage.

Through a combination of contributions, including educational materials and everyday necessities, Tune Talk’s donation aims to lift hearts with hope and offer more than just temporary assistance. This year, the team went the extra mile, bringing in volunteers with specific skills to create a unique experience for the orphanage residents in preparation for Deepavali. Beyond the routine of financial support, Tune Talk made it a day of joy, filled with thoughtful and engaging activities for the children.

The celebration included free barber sessions for the residents and a lively dance class led by a professional dance teacher, where the children eagerly learned new moves and shared moments of laughter. Adding a festive touch, a Henna artist was invited to adorn the children’s hands with beautiful designs, sparking joy and excitement. The Tune Talk team further bonded with the children by creating colorful Kollam decorations together, a traditional activity reflecting the vibrant spirit of Deepavali. The day was rounded off with a shared lunch, lovingly prepared by both Tune Talk staff and the orphanage residents, fostering a sense of community and togetherness.

“Our goal this Deepavali was to do more than just provide support—we wanted to light hearts and create lasting memories with these children. By spending time with them and offering practical aid, we hope to have made their festival a little brighter, while also bringing hope and inspiring dreams,” said Dajmarehan Zolkipli, Acting CEO and CFO of Tune Talk.

The donation, paired with the engaging activities and personal interactions, was a gesture of care designed to lift spirits and empower the children. It’s about making a lasting impact that brings light, hope, and a reminder that they are cherished and supported long after the celebrations have ended. The survey will run from 4 July to 30 November 2024 and will be conducted online. Malaysian consumers aged 15 and above are invited to participate by accessing the survey portal on any device via the provided QR code or link.

The data collected through this online platform are SSL encrypted, stored locally in a password-protected database, and IP addresses are not collected. To protect your privacy, it is recommended to clear your computer’s cache and browser history after completing the survey.

Please note that the purpose of this survey is solely for data collection. No personal data, such as full names, credit/debit card, or bank details, will be collected.
